16A: What's your secret sauce?

My unique human capital:

  1. Communication: I have always been able to send and receive information in an effective and efficient way. I think this attribute is unique to me because of the way I am able to link other key characteristics of myself to be presented as a well-rounded person.
  2. Integrity: I think that I have always done the right thing and have always presented strong moral principles when going about my day to day life. I think everyone can claim that they have integrity, but only a few actually have the mental and physical capability to live their life in this manner.
  3. Accountability: I think that I am easily accountable for my actions in my day to day life and how I conduct myself and the other people in my life. I think that my accountability allows me to be a good leader and it allows me to strive for better relationships that consist of responsibility and accountability.
  4. Creativity: I think that I have always looked at situations in a creative manner and a convergent manner. I think my ability to do this has helped me see different aspects of situations and see how different opinions could arise. This attribute has helped me link different characteristics to see a bigger impact in different circumstances.
  5. Empathy: In some instances, I can be in the dictator position, but for the most part, I emphasize with most and find ways to accommodate everyone. I can easily understand the problems of others and thus can take charge to find a way to please everyone.
Interviews:

Katherine is my roommate and one of my best friends. She has seen me in my best and worst times so what she says is pretty accurate. She touched on how reliable, accountable, and passionate I am, as she believes these are some of my best attributes.

Abby has been my best friend since high school so she has seen different aspects of my life and how my different attributes have shaped me. She says how I am very loyal and dependable and how I communicate my ideas and thoughts.

I have known Griffin for a few years now. He says that I am always around to help others, that I am loyal, and thatI am intelligent. He goes to Alabama so the fact he said go gators is a plus :)

Kamryn is my sister and her and I are very similar and very close. She says that I always get the job done and that I am very passionate about everything I do. She says she looks up to me and I am a good older sister.

Christien says that his favorite attribute about me is that I can be serious at times when it's time to get the job done, but I can also loosen up and know when to have fun. I think that this is a true characteristic of me that I had not thought of before this interview.

I think the way I see myself and the way others see me is very similar. Since this assignment is picked 5 people that know you best, these people see me and how I act on a day to day basis. Each of them hit at least one of the attributes that I put for myself in the first section of this assignment. I think the interviewees are very spot on about me, I think that they each hit the points where they see me in the most positive way, which is different for each person because they each play a different role in my life.

  1. Logan,

I think that integrity and accountability go a long way in being a leader that people look up to. When one is cognizant of one's faults, and always do the right thing, others take notice and see you as a trustworthy person. Also, being creative is a valuable skill that is difficult to learn. I don't see myself as a creative person, but I wish I could be because it promotes out of the box thinking, and the ability to come up with ideas that no one else has thought of before. Last but not least, communication can be a great skill to have in any workplace because of one's ability to convey ideas to others is very important.
