27A: Reading Reflection No. 3
The book I picked for the third assignment is "The Art of Social Media" by Guy Kawasaki.
1. The general theme of this book was to show people how to use and optimize social media. Whether you are using social media for a personal use or for a professional one, this book gives step by step instructions and tips on how to effectively use social media platforms. This book also teaches people how to effectively interlope the different platforms to have the most effective responses. This book does a good job of displaying how you can look good and bad when using social media and how exactly you can optimize these different platforms to expand your individuality.
2. This book connects with what we are leaning in ENT3003 by showing you how you can optimize the resources you already have or have easy access to. More social media platforms are free and this book expands on the theory that these platforms provide each individual with tools that lead to greater monetary value. I believe that in ENT3003, Dr. Pryor has expressed the importance of being able to use the resources you have and have easy access to to be able to grow your opportunity.
3. If I had to design an exercise, it would be based off each person speaking about their favorite social media platform and how this platform contributes to their life and how it effects them. I think each person would speak of how knowledgable they are about this platform and the ways they believe that they could improve to contribute to a better opportunity.
4. I don't really think there were any big 'aha' moments in this book for me. I have twitter, facebook, and instagram and these are all platforms this book mentioned and I feel like I knew about all the rules and expectations that the book mentioned. I think this is a good 'aha' book for someone that does not know much about social media, but I think that I am well informed in this realm.

Hey Logan, I thought that you did a great job on your reading reflection. Social media is a huge part of people's lives now and people would be a fool not to take advantage on its ability to connect with people all over the world. I would like your assignment if I was an outspoken person but I think it is a good idea to have people talk about how these platforms affect their lives.
