These are some interesting articles that are relatable to both Gainesville and my home town. The article about the traffic reminds me of how bad traffic is here on campus in the mornings and around 5 pm. I can see why residents would be upset about traffic being routed into residential areas if it had never been handled that way in the past. The post about the seaweed at Miami beach reminds me of the problem with red tide that my home town (Sarasota) has every year, and especially how bad it was in the last year. Good post!
ReplyDeleteLogan, these are very interesting articles. The article about the bacteria advisory is extremely terrifying because there has also been a warning for the gainesville area. I have a dog who loves to go in water but it is scary to think that by him doing something he enjoys, can kill him. As for the article of the seaweed, I have seen this come up a lot lately. I was on a plane about a month ago, and could see all of the seaweed floating in the ocean from a couple thousand feet up.
